Dionyx Student Night
Hello lovely students! Dionyx is open again! You can go to our meetings every Thursday in Café Rosé (Bogaardenstraat 43, Maastricht). You don’t need to sign up, just come as you are. For more information on upcoming events, just follow us on Instagram.
About us
Dionyx was started in 2016 specifically for open-minded students and adolescents in Maastricht / Limburg. It was started as a cooperation between COC Limburg and students from Maastricht University and Zuyd Hogeschool after the need for activities specifically for the LGBTQIA+ students was discussed in 2015.
What does Dionyx do?
Once a week, Dionyx organises various activities to increase the social interaction between students and adolescents of the LGBTI community. Examples are monthly themed parties, film nights, but also debates and workshops. Dionyx aims to create a space where open-minded people have a space of their own, with space for discussions and meetings.
Furthermore we aim to increase the knowledge of LGBTI issues with (international) students of Maastricht University and Zuyd Hogeschool. Dionyx’ activities are held every thursday during the academic year during our special Student Nights in Café Rosé from 19:00 to 01:00 with free entry.

Over ons
Dionyx is in 2016 opgericht voor open-minded studenten en jongeren in Maastricht / Limburg. Het begon als een samenwerking tussen COC Limburg en studenten van de Universiteit Maastricht en Zuyd Hogeschool, nadat in 2015 de behoefte aan activiteiten specifiek voor LGBTQIA+-studenten werd besproken.
Wat doet Dionyx?
Een keer per week organiseert Dionyx verschillende activiteiten om de sociale interactie tussen studenten en jongeren van de LGBTI-gemeenschap te bevorderen. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn maandelijkse themafeesten, filmavonden, maar ook debatten en workshops. Dionyx streeft ernaar een ruimte te creëren waar open-minded mensen een eigen plek hebben, met ruimte voor discussies en ontmoetingen.
Verder streven we ernaar om de kennis van LGBTI-kwesties te vergroten bij (internationale) studenten van de Universiteit Maastricht en Zuyd Hogeschool. De activiteiten van Dionyx vinden elke donderdag plaats tijdens het academisch jaar, tijdens onze speciale Student Nights in Café Rosé, van 19:00 tot 01:00 uur, met gratis toegang.
